Insurance and Warranty Cover

A Mobility Scooter owner or user is under no overall legal obligation to have insurance but it is a good idea to make sure for your peace of mind and just in case that you are covered for third party damages as well as fire, theft, accidental and malicious damage.

Insurance cover is also available for other mobility products such as Riser/Recliner Chairs and Stairlifts for a variety of circumstances such as damage, theft or stain removal.

Extended Warranty cover is also typically available for unforeseen electrical and mechanical failure after the manufacturers warranty has expired.

All Mobility generally offers insurance from First Senior Insurance Services Limited - experts in many areas of the mobility and homecare markets.

The DVLA says:
"Although it is not a legal requirement, it is strongly advised to have insurance. Suitable schemes are not too expensive and are available to cover your personal safety, other people’s safety and the value of the vehicle."
